The garden city is an idea of urban planning that was initiated in the end of the 19th century in England to form communities surrounded by "greenbelts", containing pleasant areas of residence. Koelichen family manor in Warsaw’s Włochy was planned as Poland’s first garden city. At the time the WW2 effected in making this scenario impossible, but the idea has been reborn and still developing.
Park Kombatantów (or Park Koechelichów) - A 18th century Continental European English landscape garden is one of the most beautiful parks in Warsaw, with walks, tree plantation and a Carpicorn Pond, plus playgrounds and a palace housing a library.
Park ze Stawami Cietrzewia - A gorgeous and children-friendly park with a large pond available for fishing, supporting numerous species of waterfowl.
Górka Szczęśliwicka - All-year ski and snowboard site with a neighbouring park available for various outdoor activities including swimming or roller-skating
CH Blue City - One of the biggest shopping and leisure centers in Warsaw.
Factory Outlet - Another huge shopping center in our neighbourhood.
Dom Kultury Włochy i Kino „ADA” - A local cultural center, next-door residents’ favourite, welcoming also Montemarco Guests to spend their family time or watch a film at the Ada cinema occasionally offering free screenings.
